Wolfgang holds a master’s degree in Economics and a PhD from the University of Bonn, Germany.

He began his professional career with KPMG and subsequently joined InterFinanz in 1983. After 10 years with InterFinanz he entered the corporate finance divisions of two German „Mittelstand“ banks (WestLB, IKB) and took a position with an M&A advisor in Hamburg.

He rejoined InterFinanz in 2001 and was appointed Managing Director at the beginning of 2012.

Throughout his entire professional career, Wolfgang has been responsible for structuring and advising on a wide range of transactions including M&A, MBO/MBI and leveraged buyouts. He has extensive transaction experience in the automotive supplier, industrial products, consumer goods, trade commerce, industrial services and logistic industries.
